Barbarienne Conquers Realms
In my mailbox today was the August issue of Realms of Fantasy, and what to my delight did I find inside? My friend Elizabeth Glover's story "Meta-Physics." Elizabeth read this story at Lunacon a couple of months ago, and I thought it was great, as did the rest of the packed room she read it to. I can't wait to curl up and appreciate it again. And, BTW, the title is correctly written MetaPhysics. I guess they had to hyphenate it for the design of the page. if I'm lucky enough to get picked for any "Years Best" anthos, I'll be chasing that correction all over town.
Damn! I was back and forth on whether that hyphen was in or not. I chose poorly. My apologies. BTW, it's cool that you got 3 pictures, though I love that one of the artists put Canal Street Station on the subway sign when you say in the first sentence that we're on the Upper East Side.
