This was my birthday present. A 1977 picture book edition of "The Hobbit" with illustrations from the Rankin/Bass movie. It's totally cool.

I remember the book and watching the show on TV. Way better than Bakshi's LOTR.

This is very, very late, but congrats on the WOTF stuff. It's quite an experience, isn't it?
I had this book as a kid and totally remember the fold out battle page with the Five Armies near the back.
Jeff - Yes, the Bakshi version of LOTR sucked the big one.
